PBX in a Flash Chooses Vitelity Communications to Provide VoIP Services for Open Source Voice Products

Vitelity Communications (News - Alert) has been selected as the exclusive network provider for PBX in a Flash, an open-source, Asterisk (News - Alert)-based Public Branch Exchange (PBX) phone system with 12,000 to 15,000 downloads a month, according to the company.

"The PBX in a Flash Development Team has been searching for many months for an Internet telephony provider to support our project and our users,” said Ward Mundy, president and founder of PBXinaFlash.com.

Mundy said the key requirement was a provider that has an excellent reputation and report in the Asterisk community and a diverse mix of product offerings for our users. “We are delighted to announce our new relationship with Vitelity. Not only is their service impeccable, but they also now have unbeatable pricing."

Under the terms of the deal, Vitelity will be able to offer their second-to-none service to PBX (News - Alert) in a Flash customers, who will benefit from Vitelity's constant innovation, including the Asterisk configuration wizard that simplifies setup and interoperability.

"We are very happy that PBX in a Flash chose Vitelity to be their exclusive provider for voice products and services. We understand that they have a wide selection of wholesale VoIP providers to choose from and we are very proud that we were selected as their exclusive carrier. We have always believed that we offer superior voice quality along with a robust user portal but it is nice to have those beliefs validated by PBX in a Flash," said Scott Navratil, vice president of Sales and Marketing for Vitelity.

For a limited time, Vitelity is offering PBX in a Flash customers half off the standard retail bundle and 60 free minutes of long distance in the USA and Canada. Vitelity, a recognized leader in Asterisk development and deployment, provides service to over 12,000 customers, according to the company.
