The research on Open Source OS found that operating systems and applications play an important role in the differentiation of smartphones. They are also a key factor in the choice of which handset users choose.
The report titled ‘Mobile Open Source Operating Systems: Markets & Opportunities 2009-2014’ includes an overview for proprietary operating systems.
