HulloMail Service Comes to U.S.

HulloMail, a hybrid voicemail and e-mail communication technology application, will be introduced in to U.S. market on July 4.

According to sources, HulloMail started the voice-e-mail revolution in the United Kingdom and also challenged the monopoly of mobile operators by creating a platform-agnostic voicemail-to-e-mail MP3 file program, which can be utilized in concert with any wireless carrier.

With the help of HulloMail, U.S. consumers can now easily convert their voicemails into digital MP3 files that can be permanently saved, e-mailed, shared, referenced and enjoyed.

Over a decade ago, Andy Munarriz had introduced a concept of making voicemail a fully integrated part of digital communications, which will facilitate anyone with an e-mail account to screen, sort or play their voicemails as MP3 attachments either online or offline, by Web, phone or mobile.

Now, this concept is adopted by others in the form of less evolved service offerings, but HulloMail is still the only free, universal and fully e-mail-synced voicemail solution available, says company.

“A key feature of HulloMail is the fact that it works free of charge with your existing mobile number and your existing service, which Google (News - Alert) currently does not,” Munarriz said. “We believe that not having the headache of having to port your number to a new service offers users a huge advantage.”

Munarriz added: “Our voice-e-mail service is also fully automated and free, and offers full syncing capabilities with IMAP4 e-mail accounts, so you can access it from anywhere and on virtually any device. None of our rivals have our pedigree with business users and telcos – and most have made the transition from Web to mobile, trying to create an adaptable product, while HulloMail was always designed first and foremost for mobile use.”

“HulloMail is redefining how we think about and utilize voicemail,” said Munarriz. “We’re excited to be bringing a technology to the U.S. that – until now – has been largely unavailable in terms of comparable consumer usability and affordability. While the mobile and telephony services marketplace is crowded and other developers have iterations of our service offering, including Google, no one can offer users what HulloMail can.”

HulloMail will be first launched on the Android (News - Alert) mobile platform for T-Mobile handsets in the U.S. market, even though the service is designed to be compatible with almost any mobile handset and network, including iPhone (News - Alert), Blackberry and Windows Mobile.

Joining HulloMail is free of cost and can be downloaded from the Android Marketplace or can be accessed by visiting www.hullomail.com. Open an account and dial the code provided to set up the service. Once the user registers and activates their free HulloMail account, any voicemails received can be automatically forwarded (as MP3 files) to the user’s regular main e-mail inbox so that he/she can instantly see who sent them, delete, forward or store them forever and play them back as an MP3 file on virtually any device, said Munarriz.
