Ingres and FRANK Linux Systems Enter into Distribution Partnership for Austria

Ingres Corporation, an open source database management company, and FRANK Linux Systems, a value added reseller, have entered into a comprehensive distribution partnership for the Austrian market.

 

While disclosing this, Ingres officials said that as part of the agreement, FRANK Linux Systems will distribute the company’s solutions and services to the specialized trade market in Austria.

 

Officials view the agreement with FRANK Linux Systems as a further milestone in the company’s global partner strategy, with the Austrian market providing open source growth potential.

 

As a Red Hat distributor, FRANK Linux Systems and its customers can take advantage of the recently announced Ingres Development Stack for JBoss, which the company claims is the first-ever fully pre-assembled bundle that combines Ingres Database with Red Hat’s (News - Alert) JBoss Developer Studio and JBoss Enterprise Application Platform.

 

The Ingres Development Stack for JBoss that is available immediately as a 90-day evaluation includes all the components of the Ingres Database and JBoss Developer Studio, offering businesses superlative technologies at a fraction of the cost of proprietary vendors.
