Zultys Names Lichtman as CEO

On the heels of announcing it has further extended its unified communication enterprise solution, Zultys Inc., a manufacturer of enterprise-class IP PBX phone equipment for the midsize and enterprise market, has announced that telecom industry veteran, Neil Lichtman, has been appointed CEO of Zultys (News - Alert).

Most recently serving as president, small enterprise systems at Vertical Communications (News - Alert), Lichtman has over 25 years of telecom leadership to both private and publicly held companies. He was previously CEO of Comdial Corporation, which was acquired by Vertical Communications. Prior to that, Lichtman was president of Claricom Holdings where he created an 800 percent value increase for shareholders.

Based on open standards, Zultys Inc., a Silicon Valley company founded in 2001, manufactures VoIP business phone systems that scale to thousands of users.

“Neil is the ideal leader to take Zultys to its next level of success. Neil’s experience in channel development will assist us in our growth strategy and capturing market share,” said Vladimir Movshovich, chief technology and co-founder of Zultys, in a statement.

“Zultys delivers the best in class solution in the industry. It is the company that will rapidly appear as the leading VoIP solution provider,” Lichtman said. “Zultys is already growing while others are shrinking. Zultys is definitely the company I want to be part of to drive its further success.”

According to company officials, the MX solution from Zultys allows companies of all sizes to deploy “seamless” organization-wide IP telephony and unified communications services to up to 128 locations – a 400 percent increase over previous capabilities.

Last month, Zultys received an award from Technology Marketing Corporation, recognizing the company’s family of IP PBX (News - Alert) products – the MX250 and MX30 – and unified communications solutions as the recipient of the 2009 INTERNET TELEPHONY Excellence Award presented by INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.
