Digium, MegaPath's Duet of Voice and Data Service

Digium, the Asterisk Company, has announced the interoperability of its Web-aware Switchvox (News - Alert) IP PBX with MegaPath’s Duet SIP Trunking service. MegaPath, a provider of managed IP data, voice and security services in North America, gives customers the ability to leverage Digium’s IP PBX (News - Alert) to support the company’s voice and data communications services. Used together, Switchvox and the MegaPath Duet service can create substantial savings on voice and data services for small to mid-sized businesses (SMBs).

Digium’s Switchvox IP PBX has been certified to work with MegaPath’s Duet SIP Trunking service, by streamlining adoption of the Switchvox telephony system. Switchvox is a low-cost VoIP and unified communications solution built on the open source Asterisk (News - Alert) platform.

 

A business-class phone and Internet T1 service that is delivered over a private, all-optical MPLS nationwide network using an existing IP-PBX system, MegaPath’s Duet SIP Trunking works as part of MegaPath’s fully managed Duet line of services.
