Digium, TMC Announce Schedule of Speeches for Digium/Asterisk World 2010

Technology Marketing Corporation and Digium, the Asterisk (News - Alert) Company, reportedly announced the schedule for speeches in their Presentation theater within Digium|Asterisk World 2010, to be held as part of ITEXPO East in Miami, Jan. 20-22.

The presentations to be made by industry experts will be free for all attendees and will take place in the Digium (News - Alert)|Asterisk World Pavilion on the ITEXPO exhibit floor. Speakers are expected to demonstrate open source telephony solutions for developers, service providers and end users.

TMC and Digium had to expand the Digium/Asterisk World exhibit showcase as the number of participating companies increased from 16 to 21. These include Digium, Asteria, Konftel, Polycom, Synway, Presence Technology (News - Alert), Odin TeleSystems, Braxtel and Xorcom, among others.

Besides the presentation theatre, The Digium/Asterisk World Conference program also features three days of informative sessions categorized into three tracks.

The first one is the Enterprise Focus which covers HD Voice, SIP Phones for Asterisk, Mission Critical and large-scale Asterisk for business. Attendees can learn how Asterisk can help change the business proposition for PBX (News - Alert) and telephony solutions in Enterprise.

The Contact Center Focus will highlight unified communications, multi-seat VoIP call centers and sessions which are dedicated to open source market analysis and forecasts.

The Reseller Opportunities track addresses specific methods to add value to Asterisk-based sales processes and solutions besides including IBM’s new Asterisk-based products, said Digium and TMC sources.

Danny Windham, CEO of Digium will address the entire ITEXPO (News - Alert) and Digium/Asterisk World audience on Jan. 21, while giving the keynote address. He will discuss the evolution of open source and its growth in enterprise, government and carrier markets.

Digium|Asterisk World is one of several conferences collocated with ITEXPO East 2010 in Miami. Others include 4GWE Conference, Smart Grid Summit, M2M Evolution, and Cloud Communications Summit at ITEXPO.
