Digium (News - Alert) announced that Leslie Conway has joined the company as vice president of global marketing. Conway comes to Digium from networking and communications equipment leader ADTRAN (News - Alert), where she was vice president of global marketing for the enterprise division. At Digium, she will manage all marketing activity, as well as work with the company’s channel partners to build the channel for Digium’s Asterisk (News - Alert)-based solutions.

 

Conway spent 17 years at ADTRAN. Previous to her role as vice president, she served in senior positions responsible for product marketing, product management and distribution sales as well as pre-sales technical support and training.

 

Before joining ADTRAN, Conway worked as a product manager at Intergraph Corporation and as a design engineer for General Electric. She holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering, a master’s degree in management and a master’s degree in business administration.

 

Conway takes over marketing from Bill Miller (News - Alert), who had been responsible for both marketing and product management. Miller will now focus exclusively on managing Digium’s product line, including all of the company’s hardware, software and appliance families, technology partners and expanding Digium’s open source Asterisk community.
