Webinar: Finding Reliable Open Source Solutions Using AudioCodes

July 08, 2008

The increasingly popular open source platform Asterisk (News - Alert) is now an integral part of diverse enterprise and service provider applications, experts say.

Yet it’s still difficult to build Asterisk-based solutions with complete reliability, as problems with software, hardware and network failures often disrupt designers’ efforts.

Next week, a panel of experts is hosting a free Webinar to give those designers an effective way around those problems, using products from an Israel-based VoIP company with U.S. offices in Somerset, New Jersey.

Register here for “Asterisk: Reliable and scalable solutions with AudioCodes (News - Alert),” to be held at 2 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, July 17.

AudioCodes officials say their company enables new voice infrastructure by providing “innovative, reliable and cost-effective” VoIP technology and network products to OEMs, network equipment providers and system integrators.

During the free Webinar, which will include a question-and-answer session, participants will learn how a combination of Asterisk and AudioCodes Media Gateways can deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Presenters will include Alan Percy, director of business development at AudioCodes, and Steve Sokol, a product manager for software at Digium (News - Alert), the company that created and primarily develops Asterisk. The Webinar will be moderated by TMCnet’s own Erik Linask, group managing editor at the company and a seasoned IP communications expert.
